Bringing New Life to a 100 Year Old Thomasville Home
There are some projects that mean a little more, and this was one of them.
This home in Thomasville has been standing for over 100 years. It holds a lifetime of memories. The homeowner has lived here since she was a little girl, and when she trusted us to remodel part of her home, it was something we did not take lightly.
This was more than just a bathroom renovation. This was about honoring the history of the home while giving it the updates it truly needed.

The Bathroom Transformation
The original space was outdated and tight, with a tub that no longer fit the homeowner’s needs. We opened up the layout to create more space and completely reimagined the bathroom.
We installed a walk in shower that feels open and functional, along with a new vanity, updated lighting, and all new plumbing underneath the home. With a house this old, that part is never simple, but it was necessary to make sure everything works the way it should for years to come.
One of our favorite parts of this project was the ceiling detail. That natural wood brings warmth into the space and adds character that fits perfectly with the age of the home.

Keeping the Character
With older homes, you do not want to erase the story. You want to build on it.
We were able to preserve some of the original wood walls and blend them with the new finishes. That balance between old and new is what makes a remodel like this feel right.
More Than Just a Bathroom
This project extended beyond the bathroom.
We repaired and repainted areas that had water damage, especially in the laundry room where there had been rotting wood. We installed new flooring in the surrounding space, along with new trim and doors to clean everything up and give it a consistent look.
We also added custom work to hide the hot water heater, making the space feel more finished and intentional.
On top of that, we updated electrical and completed fresh paint throughout the area to tie everything together.

A Project We Are Grateful For
Projects like this are why we love what we do.
Being trusted with a home that holds this much history is something we do not take for granted. It was an honor to help bring this space back to life while keeping the heart of it intact.
We are proud of how everything came together, and even more grateful for the opportunity to be part of this homeowner’s story.

Thinking About Your Own Remodel
If you have a home that needs updating, whether it is one room or a full renovation, we would love to help.
Every home has a story, and we are here to build the next chapter the right way.
